Paper Dolls for Teacher Appreciation

April 10, 2018

Honor a Teacher during Teacher Appreciation Week

With the anticipation of Teacher Appreciation Week arriving on May 7-11, the School District 51 Foundation, the D51 School Board, and the Mesa Valley Education Association (MVEA) are sponsoring a Teacher Appreciation Promotion.  Parents and Community members can purchase a paper doll in honor of a teacher during the month of April.  You may select a message to the teacher and the paper dolls will be delivered to the teachers during the week of May 7-11.  Paper dolls can be purchased at www.d51foundation.org for $10 each.  The funds raised will go specifically to technology for students and professional learning for D51 teachers.  You can also find a link to the School District 51 Foundation on the School District 51 website located at www.d51schools.org

Our public school teachers work hard every day to bring the strongest education to our students.  School District 51 currently has over 22,000 students enrolled in its 46 schools.  Celebrating the impact our teachers make to our students and community is important.  The School District 51 Foundation, the D51 School Board, and MVEA want to sincerely thank our teachers and celebrate the ways they touch our entire community. Thank you!  We appreciate the sponsorship of The Daily Sentinel, Magic 93.1, and 100.7 The Vault.
