“We came back to school today energized and ready to build what we learned into our instruction.”
Congratulations and a big thank you to Mesa County Valley School District 51 staff members Myra Brown, Mercy Madison, and Jessy McKinley who recently attended the “Courage to Risk Conference” funded by D51F Professional Learning Grants. They participated in sessions on topics including executive functioning, dyslexia, engagement, self-regulation, trauma-informed instruction, and more.
Professional learning directly benefits our students and increases student achievement! Since 2018, the D51 Foundation has given over $83,000 to 156 staff members for professional training
