D51F grants funds for Dual Language Education Conference

In its 8th Round of Professional Learning Grants, the D51 Foundation funded a grant request for 5 teachers to attend the dual language education conference, La Cosecha, in Albuquerque, New Mexico. According to the teachers, “We were able to attend many sessions and workshops that will positively impact our ability to serve our emerging bilingual students in powerful, research-based ways. Furthermore, we look forward to sharing our learning with our colleagues. We are extremely grateful for your support. Thank you for all the work you do to support educators and students in our district.” Since 2018, the D51 Foundation has donated over $83k to 156 D51 staff members for Professional Learning.
